The Iron Daughter - Julie Kagawa I liked this book, I suppose. I just find the lead characters incredibly infuriating with the decisions they make. Meghan bothers me to the point of frustration, but that is the case with most lead heroines. Basically they fall in love with the distant, tortured, 'inhumanly' beautiful boy and screw over their best friend who is usually the better more sincere person. Perhaps I'm just biased to the characters like Puck or Simon in Mortal Instruments or Jem in Infernal Devices.

My main complaint is that I feel like the titles of the chapters sometimes give away way too much, there were several times that I knew what would happen just based on this. But maybe that's just me. All and all, I'll keep on keeping on, I've already started the next book so we'll see where it goes from there.
